I am trying to Restore a Backup file created by another Nord Wave user (so that I may use some programs he has created) but it is failing. Here are the steps taken:
1. User A (my friend) creates a backup .nwb file using the Backup function of the Sound Manager (v7) and emails it to me (156mb)
2. User B (me) opens Sound Manager (v7) and uses the Restore function to select, open and restore the .nwb file sent over
3. Sound Manager synchronises with my Nord Wave and asks me to confirm back up ('The contents of your instrument etc) and I click on 'Restore' button
4. Sound Manager immediately says, Restore Failed Operation Not Allowed.
I have checked this function using the Nord Factory backup from the website and I am able to upload this perfectly so neither the USB cable, the program or the Wave appears to be at fault.
Anyone got any suggestions as to what might be going wrong?

Re: Trouble Uploading A Backup
Do you have the latest OS on the Nord Wave (and your friend too)?

Re: Trouble Uploading A Backup
This is now RESOLVED. The problem was that the backup I was trying to restore contained both old (.nwi) and new (.nsmp) samples. Customer Support at Clavia very kindly (and quickly) separated the programs from the samples so I could upload them separately.
