I do not think there is any way to alphabetically sort songs or programs on the NS 3. This could be done on the NS 2.

depends what you would like to do: With the Soundmanager you can easily search and order (of course without changing the order in the instrument).

It's not possible.

However, holding Shift and turning the Program knob in Song Mode will show you the list of songs. While not in alphabetical order, you at least get a better overview. And you can use the "Organize" feature on the Stage to sort them by hand…

I would like to have the pending load function because it helps a lot when a next song is called while another song is playing

That is a completely different subject

apparently. I need to be able to change programs with a button just after the song is finished. having pending load helps. how it helps (minus) to have the list in alphabetical order

It would help even more to have the songs in the order of the set list, which can be quickly arranged using the "Organize" function.

as you know the ladder is not always respected and to cope with changes in the ladder instantly, the pending load function saves lives
