Piano 3 Soon to become a 4 I'm a Newbie...PLEASE HELP??

Post by Dukerbud88 »

I just got a loaner on the 3 and I am just going bananas.
I just LOVE it. I have it on loan for the next 3 weeks before my 4 comes in at the end of the end.
I have a gig on Nov 2 which is fortunate as the piano shell they provide fits the Nord.
I am trying to do I'm Not In Love by 10cc.
I have an old Korg EXP 2 pedal for fading in and out
Can someone please give me some guidance on how to do this as I am in a rush...only 3 weeks left.

Darrin

It is not a simple process to create all the noises in the original. Read the section headed by "Recording" in this article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I%27m_Not_in_Love

If you type "10cc" into the "Search" input field in the upper right, you will find some thread in this Nord User Forum which discuss attempts to cover "I'm Not in Love" by 10cc.
These attempts seem to have been centered on using a Nord Stage 2 or Nord Stage 3, as opposed to a Nord Piano. If you are joining a covers band and want the most flexibility in what sounds you can play, and in using splits, you might want to check with your seller if you can change your order to a Nord Stage 3. It's still red, and can use the same sounds from the Nord Acoustic Piano sound library.

Here is a thread which mentions a program someone put together for the Nord Stage 3.
