Hi All,
I am having an issue with my Nord electro rack 2. I normally use Midi to connect this to an Alesis QS 8.1 (which I use as a keyboard controller). I have had the Rack 2 since 2008-2009 when I purchased it new. I have never had any problems. We recently moved and I hooked everything up as I normally would and there appears to be no sound output. I normally run 1/4" monster cables to a small mixer and then out to KRK monitor speakers, but even when I plug headphones directly into the Rack 2 there is still no sound. All the lights appear to be "on" and the midi indicator suggests that the Rack 2 is receiving midi input normally.
Fuse problem? Is there a way to do a master reset? Unfortunately, I have no way to connect it to my computer any more (relatively new mac book pro with USB-C only) as all the software is out of date now. The software on the Rack 2 is up to date to the best of my knowledge (As of the last release for Nord Electro Rack 2, years ago).
Thanks,
Andy

Probably the wrong MIDI channel is being used? Are you sure you have the MIDI cable connected to the IN connector of the rack?
