Agree with above, save programs as needed, i usually name them containing ‘tr’ to indicate the program is in transpose mode, and the light is on, too. While playing out, having fun, i dont want to have to remember to turn off transpose, and worse, chance starting the next song in the wrong key. It’s ultimately so important (to me) that each song gets its own program (some songs have 2 or 3), and with the name field, i can easily scroll through the dubbed set list. The name display illuminates nicely.
I hooe this helps, let me know if need more.

Re: Transpose a song.
@Kalle:
That's what I would like to have as well: a possibility to save a transposition in a song that i. e. contains 4 programs (A-D).
By the transposition of song A all included programs will be transposed as well. And when you switch to the next song B without any transposition the included programs (maybe the same as in song A) are not transposed anymore.
Even when you have severals bands/singers you can save the different tunings in the song, not in many programs used.

Re: Transpose a song.
This to me sounds like a great idea. Could you write it to clavia? Having 'Song' as an additional level in the whole software structure.

Re: Transpose a song.
Anytime I build a Setlist for a show, I make sure BEFORE the gig that on my Ipad, on the cheat sheet and on the keyboard I'm putting a big sign, Transpose -1, De-transpose to 0....
Then, I'm good now...So, it happens just during practice now....But the first chord you play you know it...Well, not necessarily, I know a guitarist that could start his solo on a "fret up" or "fret down" and continuing until the end of the song and asked us, "well, guys, you made a mistake, you sounded weird on that song, are you sure the keys or drums are in tune?"

Haha. Love that french diplomacy Quai. "I know a guitarist who...". I don't spose that guitarist would happen to be in one of your bands? No that would be waaay too far fetched :p

Re: Transpose a song.
Ah, I get it now... right now you can globally transpose the whole instrument which remains transposed until you reverse it, or you can program transpositions into specific programs, but what people are asking for is to invoke a transpose on a Song basis, a transposition that stays in effect for as long as you're in that song but not thereafter, and can optionally be saved into the song. It's an interesting idea. I don't think any instrument has anything like that. I doubt Nord would add it, though. It adds a complication to the interface for something that you can still do other ways, albeit not quite as conveniently. Like most boards, the answer is probably to use the global transpose and (here's the hard part) remember to turn it off when the song is over. Alternatively, if it's a transposition you'll be using repeatedly on that song, save alternate versions of the Programs that are part of the Song, with the transposition built-in, and build the Song out of those transposed Programs instead. Since a Song only has max 5 sounds, it's not terribly time consuming to do that.
