Knocking noise

Postby hernjov1 » 16 Sep 2018, 14:59

I'm seeing complaints about NS3 owners hearing a knocking noise. Just bought a NS3 Compact. Sept 2018 Should I be concerned? Some talked about the serial numbers of the unit when it was made... Appreciate info on this...

I think the noise was a problem of the NP3, not the NS3.

Thank You! Been reading a lot of your posts... You do know your Nords! Lol! Can I possibly use the modulation wheel to pitch bend notes. Seeing that the pitch bend is mechanical and only bends down 2 up 2... Thanks again!

I do not think you can in the NS3 (or the NS2) unless we are talking about a synth patch where you set the Filter Resonance into oscillation and then you control the oscillation pitch with the pedal morphing the Filter Frequency.
If you want to shift the pitch in general, you could try a Pitch Shifter pedal which supports an external expression pedal (I think Boss has one and Behringher also, there might be more).
