Not fixable on older models as it requires more voices on the circuit boards - not trivial in the least, and not solvable with a mere software update - and why would Nord ever bother doing this for older products when the NS3 now offers it (and I suspect all Nords will going forward) - in the Casio case quoted above it would have been far cheaper per voice as the circuitry is far less complex and far more inferior - not a fair comparison.

I'd like my Yaris to have a 6th gear too, but no luck convincing Toyota to add that in now.

No excuse for those that don't do the thorough research and kick all the tires before making such an expensive purchase. Just my $0.02.

Would it be too difficult for Nord to program something as simple as REVERB to ring out while switching slots?

Would really help the transitions, especially with super ambient sounds...

C'mon Nord! How 'bout a firmware update ;)

It may not be as easy as it sounds; the reverb settings typically change when you change programs, which means the board needs to be able to run two simultaneous reverb effects if the previous tone should be allowed to die out in the reverb. And that is probably a large change, unfortunately.

How about just running the board through an external reverb?
