UK Nord Rep on the forum? Big Warranty saga. Flash Error

Is there a UK Nord rep on the forum that can assist me with an ongoing warranty repair.

Been back to Nord for two months to fix clicky key issue.

Returned to me today and worked initially. Played for half hour. Switched on a bit later in the day and now wont load up... message on screen 'Flash Error'.

Tried suggestions to load OS etc, also holding the Store/Shift button while powering on but nothing can connect or talk to the Stage.

I believe Sound Technology contacted me originally when I filled in the form for warranty support on the Nord website. They just directed me to gear4music whom I purchased it from.

Gear4music have said they are going to ship it back in and then given the time its taken so far, attempt to get Nord to just replace it. Tomorrow is 60 days and their own policies state they will replace the instrument if its not fixed in that time... Not sure why they want Nord to replace it, surely its on them now (unless they will get out of it by saying its a 'new issue'? )

Not overly confident in gear4 to be honest, they have given me conflicting messages and advice throughout and messed up shipping arrangements several times already (they sent my Nord to an old work address earlier this week, even though ive told them several times to delete the address)

I was hoping I could speak to a person that could assist further rather than trusting that gear4 will deal with it.

My guess is that the flash modules got knocked loose by all the shipping.

Open it up, reseat the modules, all should be well.
I think I have gear issues ....

Yeah, the "fixed in 60 days" policy might not cover a new incident directly resulting from said fix? Not at all familiar with UK law, though. In the US, this could get ugly, depending on the retailer's attitude.

Afaik the Flash memory chips are soldered (as all the others) on the NS2 mainboard, as you can see also in this thread nord-stage-forum-f3/ns2-in-the-nude-t2647.html?hilit=In%20the%20nude. So there are no modules to reseat.

@kirsty: it is really unfortunate and at all disappointing what you are expriencing, but the best you can do is to contact the UK distrbutor directly.

Kirsty, after 5 pages of 'Missing the Nord' and now this, you must have the patience of St. Monica. I'd be stewing by now, not to mention distraught over missing my main 'board. Good luck on this, mate.
*Nord needs to sort these warranty issues, it seems Lucky is getting somewhere with his warranty issue, but he's in the US.

An update (think gear4music are fed up of me phoning)

Its over gear4music's 60 day fix or replace policy. Spoke to them again today a week later and made some noise.

Someone called me back to say I can wait for Nord to fix it, or they will let me put the amount I paid towards something else.

Fed up of waiting so im having a new one. Given that there wasnt a mass of difference between prices on the Stage 3 76HP and the HA88... I have a Stage 3 88 on its way which should arrive Monday.

Fingers crossed the courier doesnt get hijacked or something. Would be just my luck lately :)
