How to program this Sound: Trance Lead ?
Hi guys,
Has anyone a clue how to program a patch like the first one in this video?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4KB7t5v5jJc
I know it was programmed on a Nord lead 3 but it sounds pretty doable on the Nord Stage Classic/EX.
thank you

I tried to program it as near as possible to the original Sound.
But it still isnt perfect... Does anyone know how to perfect the Patch?

Hi Capman,
I gave it a try but did not get as close as you did, very nice patch!! Thanks!
Hard to get close, but durin gmy fiddling I found the 2 band EQ of the Synth to be quite effective in shaping the sound to fatten it a bit more.
Anyway, great patch indeed!

Here's my take on it:
The filter sweep is done using the expression pedal. It's not exactly the same rhythm pattern btw, didn't have enough time for that.
What do you think?

Re: How to program this Sound: Trance Lead ?
Hi folks, nice to hear you like my "trancelead.nspg" that I made for my old NS classic in 2011. Now I finally tried to replicate this old NS classic patch for the NS2, but I didn't really succeed Here's the closest I've been so far:
This is played live, the filter sweep is done using the Expression pedal. I didn't use any samples, only two layers of sawtooth synth. Feel free to tweak to your taste!
Best regards, Alex
