it's a bit confusing, I don't really know what it anything does like line output 1/l 2/r
midi in out
stuff like that however I want to record the piano as high quality as possible and make a midi strip as well.
do I use male 1/4 to male 1/4 or xlr (interface) to male 1/4 (keyboard)
and do I plug those in the line output at the back of the interface or the mic/line

Re: How do I record NP3 with UR22 audio interface?
Hi,
The question is a little bit fuzzy, but then again:
1. Get familiar with your instrument
2. Get familiar with midi
3. Get familiar with your audio interface and DAW
4. Get familiar with the difference between midi and audio
5. Come back when you have done bullet 1-4

Which cables do I use to record? 2 TS cables?

Re: How do I record NP3 with UR22 audio interface?
Yes, one for each channel FROM the NP3 audio out INTO the audio input on the front of your audio interface -- this will carry the audio (only).
Controlling the NP3 from your computer/DAW is probably easiest by connecting the NP3 via USB, since this gives you both input and output. If you want to use MIDI, you need two MIDI DIN cables; one FROM the UR22 midi out TO the NP3 midi in, and also FROM the NP3 midi out TO the UR22 midi in. Both UR22 MIDI connections are on the back.
Remember to select the correct audio inputs in your DAW (sequencer software) and also the connections to/from the instrument.
Enjoy
