Problem with reverb
Hi friends of Nord. A question: I play all piano sounds without reverb, so completely dry. Nevertheless, my stage 2 ex adds in the high range, from the Gb upwards a reverb. How can I remove that?

Re: Problem with reverb
I think what you are hearing are not reverb, but sustain, like when you are using the sustain pedal on the lower notes ?
The Nord are simulating a real piano, and there are no damping on the last few keys on a real piano.

Thank you Bjosko! I did not know that yet, as I only play piano on the Nord ... and the e-pianos do not have this phenomenon.

Re: Problem with reverb
All acoustic pianos have a point in the upper two octaves (where exactly varies depending upon how the piano is designed) where the strings become so short that they hardly have enough sustain to warrant the effort of adding dampers — or they’re so short that it would be very difficult to add the mechanics.
The Nord giveth; the Nord taketh away…
