Hey guys
Short question regarding MIDI with the NE5. I used to play a Roland Piano together with a TC Helicon GTX Play Vocalizer for vocal harmonies. With the roland it was rather easy to send a Programm Change via midi out to the Vocalizer for switching Presets (Turning on the harmonies) with the "dec" and "inc" buttons which where located very near to the keyboard, as an alternative to hitting the pedal (which i found very difficult with the left foot while playing piano). Do you have any suggestions on how to send a simplie program change with the NE5 using a button?

Re: Send programm Change with NE5
Easiest way is to probably use a smartphone app to send Program Changes to your Vocalizer, or some other device that can send Program Changes. The Electro's MIDI functionality is minimal. IIRC, selecting Programs can send out Program Changes (it's a global setting), but you can't define them, each one is what it is. So the only way you might be able to do it is to figure out which Program on the Nord sends out the command you want. But then you're stuck because every other Program will send something else, and almost certainly, they will be sending out things you don't want the Vocalizer to see.
