Favorite B3 Programs

Postby kirbyjwilson » 22 Apr 2018, 18:24

What are some of your favorite B3 programs? Care to share them?

I’m new to the Stage 3 myself. I dig the stock “B3 Full” program, and I’m learning how to modify it to get some great sounds.

I play a lot of Allman Brothers, Widespread Panic, Grateful Dead, Black Crowes...that sort of thing.

Any shared programs or programming tips would be most appreciated, thanks!

I’m also looking to dial in a killer sound (drawbars, vib/cho, perc, reverb) for the reggae-style songs I play.

I usually start with a base of 888000000 or 888800000 and adjust the upper drawbars as appropriate to how the band sounds and how much bite I want the organ to have.

C3 if I want extra presence and shimmer.

Percussion usually 2nd soft, fast, when I want extra bite.

Reggae, I’d start with 800000000 for the “du whoo-ka” organ offbeat fills for late-70s roots stuff. Some distortion.

If you’re looking for something more aggressive like on Marley’s “Talking Blues” album, 888000000 or 880000000 and lots of drive.

I am interested in the setting of dravbar, percussion for hard rock gig (Deep purple ...), and especially the setting of panel A and B? Thank you
