Thanks for the heads up. I won't have a chance to download and evaluate for a while, so I'd be interested in others' opinions here.

Regardless, gotta say I love the Nord strategy of making your Nod instrument a little better on a regular basis.
I think I have gear issues ....

These patches are outstanding examples of what’s possible with the Nord Stage 3 and taking them apart is helping me better understand how to make useful patches. They sound great - Brandon Coleman’s patches are simply fantastic. I can’t believe I waited this long to download them. It’s a whole new instrument.

Are there any Brandon Coleman sounds for the Stage 2?

If Brandon ever had or still has a Stage 2, I bet he had/has some great patches for the S2. However, I don’t know of any — but there are tons of patches on the the Nord Forums. I had not tried this set of patches until this week, and found them technically useful to learn about the S3, and real handy for future jazz gigs.

Speaking of Brandon, the man is a MONSTER!! He did a half hour set at NAMM a few years ago and NEVER CHANGED PROGRAMS ONCE, yet he went through the ENTIRE SOUND PALETTE of the NS2, all on the fly, all with one hand while continuing to play with his other hand, flipping things on and off all over the place. It was a total clinic in how to play the instrument solely from the front panel controls. Amazing...and inspirational. 'Nuff respect to the Man.

Bless, Pablo
