Hi everybody,
I have a nord stage 2 and I'm looking for a special piano sound: a percussive piano sound like putting a hand on the strings of a grand piano while playing with the other hand in this particular region. The resulting sound is dark, damped, and percussive.

Any idea how this could be achieved?!?!

What about leveraging the synth side of your stage?

• Download one of the single-layer pianos from Nord's Sample library (as opposed to the Piano library).
• Tweak the LPF, decay, EQ, etc., to darken the tone and shorten it.

Granted, it would not be as organic as the real thing, but it all depends on your use case (highly exposed solo playing, or an ensemble texture).
