"Bambino Upright" used for 1980's Pop tunes
I loooove the NORD upright piano samples - especially for pop music they fit like no grand ever would! The "Bambino Upright" (combined with "Imperial Grand" for the left hand) worked great for this video I recorded recently:
Thumbs up to NORD! Alex

Very tasteful playing and effective combination of these two pianos. Well done! I especially like your arrangement of the last song ("With Or Without You").

These are two of the three pianos I keep in my instrument at all times.
Is that internal reverb you used? Any compression?
Whatever you did, it really helps the Bambino sing in that mid-upper octave... what a creative use of two very different sample sets!

Nice playing Alex, that'll get you some gigs. Congratulations on the color coordinated tie as well.

What is your third one?PScooter63 wrote:These are two of the three pianos I keep in my instrument at all times.
Reverb is not internal. It's Cubase 9's "REVerence" plug-in, "Japanese Concert Hall" preset. And I also added some master compression using Cubase's "Maximizer" plug-in.PScooter63 wrote:Is that internal reverb you used? Any compression?

It's no rocket science - just using these two pianos in a split The split width is "small" by the way, so there's a slight overlap.

Not actually - and I really hope I don't get sued by NORD for using "their" colourMr_-G- wrote:Is that a Nord tie as well?

To be honest I didn't think one minute about the song before playing it, so calling it an "arrangement" is very flattering But it worked out nicely in terms of dynamics etc. - not always the case... And I'm also really pleased that someone actually did listen to this end section of this 9 minute video, considering the short attention span of most people these dayspatrickno6 wrote:Very tasteful playing and effective combination of these two pianos. Thanks for listening! Alex
