Hi everyone,
I have been playing with the pre-loaded Accordion sound a bunch—it seems to sound really nice, particularly lead melody for tango or gypsy jazz style music. Rhythm chords don't sound quite as authentic IMHO, but are ok. Actually I really prefer setting up a split to have rhythm piano and accordion lead.
I'm curious if there are any players here who have a real accordion who could compare and contrast some of the differences between the sample and the real deal and also playing methods for maximizing the realism of the sound. I'd actually like to get an accordion some day, but I already have an NS2 and kinda know how to play it today.
Thanks for any thoughts or insights!
Cheers,
-Chuck

Re: Accordion
About my accordion: I downloaded tango accordion from my Logic sound library to Nord sample editor, did a little editing and now I have good enough acc. IMO it's better than one you get from Nord sound library.
About playing acc: you should have volume pedal to make it sound more like real one. Unfortunately new NS2 firmware does not allowe me to use it (in my dual kb setup I can just have organ swell which is stupid, but that's another story...)

Excellent, there is nothing better when you make you own great sounds to play.
I'd also like to hear/try that one too, if you would be so kind.
Cheers

I have tried to play with Nord's accordion for the first time :
I would love to have the bass sound to play a "pump" bass 3/4 ...
And I thinks "yes, that would be great to have your patch JacksonP...lease "
Cheers

Re: Accordion
Hmmm, maybe there's some legal issues here. I understand that I can use my Logic samples how I want to, but I am afraid that it's not allowed to share them around the world...
