Hi everyone!
Since 3 weeks the organ module of my NS2 seems to have problems, the soundlevel is very low, although it has been played for years without changing. Sometimes it works well after switching on the keyboard, but after some minutes the organ sound is very low and cannot be increased to the programmed level.
Has anyone else a similar experience? Could it be, that the 'organ-chip' is dieing? Does anyone know about temprature oder humidity problems? My equipment is in the tourbus during the night, at the moment we handle -15°...
Thanks for your help
Paul

Re: NS2 organ modul cracked?
Hi,
Maybe your electronics have a problem that pretend having an organ swell connected at low position?
Cheers,
Eumel

Re: NS2 organ modul cracked?
Do you by any chance have an expression pedal connected, and could it be faulty somehow? If you do NOT have it connected, try maybe adding one to see if it works. And check the obvious also, that you haven't plugged something else into the expression (or control) pedal that shouldn't be there (stupid I know -- but we've all done that, myself included).
It COULD theoretically be the input that is failing somehow, so you could also consider changing the settings for it, just to see if it has any impact.

Re: NS2 organ modul cracked?
One time I had a similar issue and realized I had a reverse volume morph set up on the mod wheel and did not realize my mod wheel was engaged part of the way, which caused the organ to be very quiet. It was very basic, but took me a few minutes to diagnose.

Re: NS2 organ modul cracked?
Thanks for your feedback. Sorry to say, that there has never been a sweller connected or a morph function - would have been an easy solution
The last two shows the problem didn't occure, so I still think it's a kind of a hardware thing.

Re: NS2 organ modul cracked?
Try to actually plug an expression pedal into the SwellPedal input and/or try to change its function to Volume, to help diagnose if a faulty input jack is a possible cause before goin for technical assistance.

Re: NS2 organ modul cracked?
For those who are interessted: after another 10 shows without any failure, it seeems to me, that it's been a temprature/humidity problem indeed. It's spring now and no problems occured again. So I hope for summer to come soon
