Idea for a new logo of "Nord User Forum"

Post by Nord33 »

I thought about year ago how new Nord keyboards have OLED displays, and to me they look amazing. So I came up with an idea for a new logo for this forum.

2 things to note:
  1. The font is not the best one yet, but this is just an idea.
  1. The whole program area is not the part of a logo, it's just for a better feel. Logo should be only screen with store button
I sent this to the Admin. Upvote if you like it  :D

You may have to alter it to fit as a banner like the existing logo, but it looks great!

Yeah, that's the thing I said, it could be only screen and maybe store button near it, the rest on this picture is just to make it easier to get a feel for it. :) :D I'm glad you like it

Nicely done :-D

I wonder if, using the Song mode, you may actually create something like that on the NS3 display and take a picture with the "real chars", then merge with the icons of the Program View of the current picture (? I don't have a NS3 so I can't try that :-( )

As a graphic designer, I say that even if you could create it in song mode and take the photo, this photo would not show very clear as an icon. But I can give it a try to recreate it using a font that is closer to the original.

Sure, you would have to process (filter/posterize etc..) the photo to "iconize" it (not a graphic designer, I just do some basic pictures works with Gimp sometime), but It would be interesting to see how would it be using a different font, as you suggest, too.

I couldn't find the exact font but maybe this is a bit better!
