- About a year ago, I came up with this idea and I haven't had any sketches.
- about 8 days ago I messaged Johannes with the photo, and I posted it here.
- after 2 days, there were just 2 replies, I wasn't expecting anything like this.
- Now I came 6 days later and I saw new logo shining like a star.

This is a small example of what collective work can achieve. People from different parts of the planet working according to their abilities and aiming to a common goal, not for money. Our world would be much better if this could apply to other aspects of our lives as well!!!
Thank you again for the idea Nord33.

Here is the images with motion to the drawabars and higher resolution and same pixels. I have already sent them to Johannes, lets wait and see how it looks when he puts them in place!

Hey Alex, the text in white still shows artifacts, probably it is due to the antialiasing (so the chars are not 100% white pixels) combined with transparency; I'd keep the last animation(s) I did and see what Johannes thinks, makes sense?

HI, sorry for chiming in late, but great work guys! Just reviewed it briefly, and updated to test the latest trial.

Indeed the combination of transparent and relatively small pixel size is challenging. Maybe best to take the middle red tone for the whole background and then without transparency. If it was a bigger file would take more screen space of course.
Not sure. Any final thoughts ?

Great initiative btw!

cheers johannes

Yeah, I would try with red background, too. It looks great, only this pixels should be fixed. 8-)

I added the red background. Not solid like before but with a gradient like the rest of the banner.

The momentary logo has a twinkling in the white text - that's more distracting than the aliasing.

To add background probably is a good idea - as the PNGs have an alpha channel with smooth transition (0..255 tranparency) while your final GIF only has full transparency or none.
