Is there a possibility for this with a software update?

Re: Wish list for the Wave 3
Difficult, it probably requires updated HW to have enough processing power to support it (as it happned for NE and NS series, where it was introduced on NS3/NE6 but not on previous models)Ceyhan wrote:EndSilva wrote:Seamless transitions...

Re: Wish list for the Wave 3
Hey, why not collecting wishes for NW2 OS updates first before 3 is even announced? Wavetable scanning would be nice to be finally introduced to a Nord product. And also a 2nd LFO via shift or more LFO destinations via shift.

Re: Wish list for the Wave 3
I don't expect a wave3, most likely a wave/lead integrade combining all the power of the lead series with sample playback and wavetables (real ones that can be scanned).
Layer structure instead of slots is here to stay and will be seen in all future instruments IMO. All the effects of the stage 4 will be applied to the new synthesizer and it could come in 61, 49 keys and rack version.

Re: Wish list for the Wave 3
I'd like a re-organisation of the presets: 4x100 (and not 16x25), it's now a pain with program changes...And optimization so that when you call a preset with a PrgCh, it does not miss the first beat (it takes too long to load).
I'd like to be able to choose start and end point of a sample (with a crossfade parameter) and be able to morph those.
Beside this, it's really a excellent synth IMO
