Which sample goes with which program?

Postby mat6066 » 26 Feb 2019, 16:01

Apologies if this has already been answered (I have gone through the forum and read several posts, but no clear solution).

Is there a way of finding out which samples are used in the programs? I have a collection of programs and samples that have been created by a friend and I want to do some pruning. Sound Manager 7.32 for Wave is very limited in its functionality - it doesn't show information about the programs or samples that lets you know their relationship to each other and the Relink button isn't available.

I've seen some references in the Forum to two third party applications to solve this problem but I couldn't find one of them and the other loaded but didn't work.

Any help gratefully received.

Mat

I have done this on my Wave -- for ALL 8 banks of 128 programs each. It can only be done manually. The INFO feature found in Nord Sound Manager was added after the development of the Wave and was not made backwards compatible to the Wave, so plodding through programs manually one by one is the only way to do this.
