Strange message

I have my Nord Wave connected to my Tyros3 (midi-out of Tyros to midi-in of Wave) and the Tyros transmitting on CH1 to the Wave receiving on CH1. When I play a chord on the Tyros I get the following message on the Wave " Sysex Error - incorrect CRC" This doesn't happen when I play a note on the Tyros above the split point just when I play a chord with the left hand.
What does this message mean?

Problem solved. Sysex messages were still being transmitted by the Tyros to the left of the split. Messages turned off.
Still don’t know what the message meant though
