Ah yes, now I see what you mean. I guess I was looking too intently at Bridget Fonda Jennifer Jason Leigh and Mike Patton in a dress (2:20) to notice

Re: Splitzones
Hi All,
Surprised that no one has mentioned it in this thread, but it IS possible to split the Wave and play it as a bi-timbral synth by using an external controller for the 2nd Slot (either A or B).
Bless,
Pablo

Re: Splitzones
Hi pablomastodon,
yes I know of that possibility, as a matter of fact I use it in a couple of songs in my bands,
but anyway I really need a split function in the Wave,
that´s why I wrote to the Nord people asking if it´s possible by an OS update.

Did you ever get a response from Clavia about an OS update that will offer split-key functionality?

Re: Splitzones
I don't want to be a spoil-sport, but as far as I can tell the Wave was never meant (by Clavia) to have split keyboard functionality (just like the Electro, for example). AS such if find it very, very unlikely Clavia will ever add that.
Generally they only release OS updates to correct serious bugs, etc. and since the Wave is a stable product without known serious issues (I'm sure some will disagree ) I don't expect to see more OS updates for the Wave. Of course, we're independent from Clavia and I have access to just as much information as you do, so this is pure speculation on my part. Only Clavia (and time) can tell for sure.

Re: Splitzones
Well, I remember when I had a Stage and an update came up to add new delay types to the delay effect, like an analog flavoured one, so sometimes they add features, dunno if it ever happened for another product though, but I remember thinking very highly of them for making this possible, it made me very happy and i started actually using the delay ! I for one would like to have that delay in the wave, it was fun to play with the speed and make it do oscillating freaky sounds, which is not possible with the current wave OS, I guess it also has do with DSP power and such.
