NW _ No more Op.Sys upgrade + new features wish list

Postby afrk61 » 08 Apr 2012, 18:14

I saw that the last Op.Sys for nw is 3 years old ( 30 march 2009 )

Do you think that will be possible to hope in some new features like split point definition or Transpose into the program, or do I have to think that NW project is completly death?

Is there any new feature you would like to have available?

Happy Easter to everybody :)

I don't think we'll be seeing new software for the Wave, certainly not with new functionality. If Clavia decides to drastically change the Nord Sound Manager, they might need to bring out a minor update though. Now I don't think the Wave is dead, but the software is stable and it has the features Nord wants it to have.

This, ofcourse, is purely my own opinion. However people have been asking for features like the split point for the Wave (and the different Lead incarnations before that) for a long time and it never happened. I think they don't see it as a feature that is applicable to a product in this range and I would have to agree, since the Wave only has two slots. It would be nice however (and it doesn't seem technically difficult, they could stuff it somewhere in a menu since there would be no key to select it), especially on the Lead 2X which has four slots.

Anyway, I wouldn't hold my breath. If you really need a solution, the external box mentioned in this thread would work: nord-electro-forum-f9/midi-split-local-off-t2702.html
