Hey Bee, I bought my wave 2 from Long & McQuade too. I thought it would be easy to get the slider caps directly from Jam Industries, but they made me contact L & M for a bill of sale to prove that I really owned a wave 2. Several emails and months later the caps showed up. Not as easy as I'd thought, but I'm happy now. Just glad I didn't have to deal with something more serious (yet).

Layer control plastic caps on faders crack with time, first one got a crack, and no another one.
It seems like it's manufacture problem.

Anyone knows where to get new/others caps?

thank everyone for replies, I will order on alixpress.

The other night one of the plastic hats divided in two and finally fell off. I wrote a brief note to support@the_mothership and two days later I got an envelope in my mailbox with 8 hats. Problem solved. Yes, I live in Sweden ... Excellent support free of charge!

I have used my Wave 2 for three sessions getting to know it and low and behold one of them cracked and fell off already…

These look great! Where did you get them?
Eriknie wrote:You can get many variations from china. Check the typical sites to order stuff. I ordered several type. One is fitting great and looks nice. Just measure the metal and check for the right sliders. Very cheap and looks great!

Now it was my time to replace the knobs, contacting support and getting new knobs which probably are the same which cracks makes no sense to me so i found a replacement here in Denmark:

https://elektronik-lavpris.dk/p141623/k ... vid-streg/

12 mm H
9 mm W
9 mm L

and they even fit better than the originals which came off easy.
