Re: Layer sliders—cracked plastic?

Hi gang! Same issue here. Had a crack down the middle on one. Got it replaced (via Sweetwater) and now another is showing a hairline crack in the middle. Going to see about getting a few spares this next time around. For the record, this was one of the early Wave 2s - one with board print version 1.0.

The gal I married in 1988 came with a 1970s Pioneer receiver. I use it as my amp and the caps are indestructible and fit my wave2 sliders. Unfortunately they don't match very well. I'm going to use epoxy as suggested by DJKeys until Nord is willing to come up with some good replacements. Let's keep this thread going. I don't really even know how to get parts from Nord when they are available.

You can get many variations from china. Check the typical sites to order stuff. I ordered several type. One is fitting great and looks nice. Just measure the metal and check for the right sliders. Very cheap and looks great!
