Factory Sample Bank out of date?
I've noticed that the samples in the Factory Sample Bank are all versions 1.4 and 1.5 as opposed to V2. Does this matter? If it does, has anyone done the tedious job of replacing them with V2 iterations?

Re: Factory Sample Bank out of date?
Just heard back from Nord:
"The 2.0 format mainly included more features for metadata in the files, so the v2 samples will not give you any sonic improvements I would say"
Anyone else share this view?

Re: Factory Sample Bank out of date?
The Wave was built way before sample format 2.0 was introduced, so it's not surprising that the factory banks are in 1.x format.
Most 1.x samples were converted to 2.0 and you can find both versions on the website. They are sonically identical. The advantage of 2.0 is that they are slightly smaller in size, so you can fit more in the instrument's memory.
The latest Wave firmware is fully compatible with 2.0, unfortunately format 3.0 is not usable on older Nords (and likely never will be, but you never know).
