I don't have Omnisphere and I thought the sounds already downloaded here with "OMNI" in their name where from Omnisphere. I may be wrong...

Anyway, discovered that the mp3 where already created for those sounds :

but there is a discrepency in the NordUserSample site where those mp3 are not referenced.
Ex : fileID=2808 / AttachID = 8839

Still didn't find a way to relink the mp3 on the NUF to the NUS

Thanks spookycookie, the edits I am trying to make are to some records that were created before I registered and I have been editing them to fill in the details. Referencing your picture above of the MP3 boxes, I click the delete button on the lower right, receive a confirmation pop-up and select Continue, and nothing happens. I've tried it multiple ways including hitting "Save" after confirming I want the mp3 deleted. I have also found some duplicate records (and created one myself) that I would like to delete. Can an overall "Delete Record" be created?

there is a hide sound feature which will hide the entry for other users. If you send me the ID I will delete it for you, I sent a mail about this.
I am having trouble replicating the bug you mentioned. When I hit delete, the mp3 disappears. Can you send me a message with the details of the exact sound that you are having issue with, so I can investigate.

One other note - it looks much better having the single icon reflecting that there are multiple mp3s however when going through multiple records to quickly hear samples, it would be nice to not have to expand the record to hear anything. One thought would be to allow the owner to select the MP3 the owner wants available on the record line with a small icon next to it indicating there are more, or better yet, select the order the owner wants the mp3 played and have the first available on the record line. If you are familiar with Craigslist, it's like allowing the owner to choose what picture the owner wants shown first.
Regarding the current multiple mp3 icon, I found that clicking on it won't expand the entry like clicking anywhere else around it. If it's a simple fix, good, otherwise folks will figure it out.

this one will require quite a bit of work so I will tackle other issues first.
I have fixed if you click the collection the row expands to view th details

this is pretty easy for me I think, Ill add a loading spinner thing

separate the "sample" category into "sample v2" and "sample v2&v3".

This is pretty easy. But I will need to reassign the existing files to the new category

And one question for usage: I would like to update some of my sounds. I can add updated sounds and previews, but it seems I can't remove the old files from the collection - clicking "Delete" simply does not do anything. Any ideas?

So quite a few ppl experiencing this issue. An old mp3 cannot be deleted but new ones can... is this right?

I just cannot replicate this issue, I will need more details, If anyone is having issues deleting unwanted MP3s, please PM me.
There is no delete on a Sound collection, but you can hide it from other users using the hide feature. If you want a permanent delete, please PM me.

Thanks for your reply and also heads up for the maintenance of the NUS website !
I have access to the Files section but assigning the soundID does not work.

Here is what I do :
FileID 2808 in NUS (BEAUTY OMNI.nsmp)
Today linked to (wrong) soundID 996

Link to NUF is : post87734.html#p87734
If I click on the NUF link and scroll down the page, my mouse over the preview sound for "BEAUTY_OMNI" gives me the following link : download/file.php?id=8883

I believe this 8883 is the soundID that should replace current 996 in NUS (Opening directly download/file.php?id=8883 downloads the mp3 correctly).

Back in NUS, clicked on the Files section, selected FileID 2808, opened the ">" and typed 8883 in the "Enter sound ID" on the right.
The "Assign to sound button" becomes green, I clicked on it but nothing happened.
Tried F5 and entered FileID 2808, but still 996 assigned to the soundID.

Am I doing something wrong here ?

I can't delete neither mp3 files nor ns3f files. And I tried both on Firefox and Chrome, neither works for me. Sent you a PM.
One suggestion could be that instead of a delete button, it was a hide slider, like the one for sound/collection. Because as I understand, that's actually what it should do - hide the particular file in that sound/collection page, right?

Regarding the login issue, I've tried with Firefox on 2 different computers, and login fails on both (as described previously). On the other hand, login works fine with both Edge and Chrome.

The sounds from the NordUserForum and NordUserSounds website are separate sources.
You are now linking NUF ID's with NUS ID's.

Gr Bart is correct!

You need to find the ID of the sound (collection) in NUS , that you want to attach that file to : Beauty Omni Sound ID: 996
SO you should enter 996 in the box to attach mp3 (when looking at FileID 5007) to NUS sound Beauty Omni (996) - that will add the mp3 to the sound collection

so Beauty Omni NUS Sound collection (996) should then contain 2 files :
Beauty Omni.nsmp (2808) and the corresponding mp3 file BEAUTY_OMNI.mp3 (5007)

its not about changing IDs per say, its more about assigning files to Sound IDs. The NUF IDs (8883) are largely irrelevant!

On a positive note, thanks to 'ameinild' and 'WannitBBBad' , we have identified and now fixed a bug in deleteing files from sound collections.

If you both try it again, it should work!

I have fixed this login problem.. It was a bug introduced when I changed the enter buton to submit the login automatically.
