I would resize the description column and squeeze the tag (I would even remove the tag column and replace it with the file size or maybe the date or more space for the description...).
Did you get a chance to look at how to link the URL to the NUF mp3, instead of having only the solution to upload mp3 ?

I cannot remove the Tag colum because its required for the seach feature to work (tags are one of the main things that will help search to return the best results), but I might be able to reduce the size of it, in favour of description.
However other users have suggested hiding the description, (make it available when you view the sound).. So Im thinking, some sort of user preference hide/show columns optional columns might be best. I think I can add something like that pretty easily.

I will add all the exsisting MP3s to the admin 'all files' page (the ones that have been ommitted) and some kind of feature to locate the unused MP3 via the files page and assign it to the sound. This will be the easiest way for admins to assign missing mp3s. In the meantime, make a list of all sounds with incorrect MP3s and let me know which file in the forum should be used (attachID, or file name is easy to find)

So the hidden new features for mp3, file to download and sound itself.
Wonder what happens if I hide the sound : will I see it hidden as the owner and people won't see it (so that I may the possibility to unhide it ?) or will it just be hidden therefore no way to access it ?

The hidden feature is exactly what you expect.
FIles/Mp3s 'hidden'.
If you 'hide' an MP3 or a file, it is hidden for all users who are 'viewing the sound', but when you edit (either as an admin, or as a sound owner) you always see the all files (even hidden) so you can always un-hide if you change your mind or make a mistake - I figured hide/show is better than hard-delete. When you hide/show the files/mp3s, the change is immediate and you dont need to click update. It's was just easier to code it that way (i know it seems odd but it was a timesaver).

Main sound 'hidden'
This will drop the sound completely from the table for all users (on next refresh of their data) and you wont be able to find it again, UNLESS you are the sound owner - it will always appear in 'My Sounds' for owners even when its 'hidden'

Is there a way of using a category field search to just grab nsmp files of particular categories, such as Pad, Strings, etc? if not, is there a way to do this? It would make a life a little easier in indexing sounds I'd like to find, without trawling the

Absolutley Lew!, Just set the instrument type filter to 'sample (nsmp)' and then add the category filter to 'pad + strings' - these filters can accept multiple values when the options are listed. You can also filter results by having MP3, or not having MP3 etc etc. But the problem here is if a sound is of instrument type Electro, Stage, etc then the filter on type= sample will not include those results.
You can combine as many filters as you want, and also combine with the 'search' on Name, Description, Tags. Just play around with it! And if you think there could be an improvement somehow, let me know.

I'm pretty happy with they way its all working just now, so Ill keeping adding little features and options to keep everybody happy.
It's like teasing out the spec requirements based on user feedback. So the more feedback I get, the better.

I have added a toggle off/on for Description and Tags columns, since not everyone wants them at all times (new icons top right)
I still need to adjust columns sizes when both description and tags are hidden... Ill try to tidy it up a bit.

Log in works, accessing the pages “All Sounds” and “Add New” is fine as well but when selecting “Files” the page appears for a second or so and the changes to a blank screen. Any idea why this happens?

Strange, almost like the data was cached previously, it then refreshes in background (takes 1 second) and then the new data was empty.
One thing to try, clear your cached data completely on iPad and try again, might fix it.. It might just be bad timing also, I may have been deploying the app at the time you checked.
If you flick from 'All Sounds' to 'Files' a few times, it will always trigger a refresh of data, so try that also..

When you say blank screen, ..... can you give more info ? - do you still see the table with empty data, with the white text message at the top saying "TODO - Will add some functionality to ....." ??

Hi,

I cleared the browser cache and tried again, still the same result. Blank screen means there is absolutely nothing on it, just a plain white area. So also no menu items like All Sounds or anything else fro your webpage.Refresh of the page does not help, and if I go back to the page (I.e. All Sounds) where I jumped into All Files with the browser’s back function I then have to refresh this previous page again before the content becomes visible. Then going to All Files again provides the same result - plain white screen ....

Actually, it would help cos I could see the URL that throws a white screen, just to double check..
I might need to grab an iPad for this one.

Same thing happens on the iPhone, just in case you would have easier access to this rather than getting an iPad

I Hope i am writing in the Right Topic .... everytime i Try to Create a New account i get an error message which is saying: oops something went wrong?
Can someone help?

Hi,
You only get one account per email, you shouldnt try to create more than one - it will fail if the email is already in the system each time you sign up with the same email.
If you get that message on login it means the email and password is incorrect.

Did you check your spam folder for the confirmation email? - and click the confirmation link.
Can you try loggin in with the 1st password you used to register.
Can you try a password reset? (check your spam folder carefully)

If you PM me your email, I will check whats happening.
