Hello
I am new to these forums and super new to keyboard/synth in general.
I just got a nord electro and I am looking to get some sounds similar to the yamaha i was playing with. My band has a wobble bass song and I am looking to get a similar patch for my nord. It was a pretty basic user uploaded wobble bass sound.
Anyone have any patch’s like that I could download ?

Re: Looking for a wobble bass sample for nord electro 6
Hello, and welcome to the Forum! If I understand correctly, the wobble bass is a synth bass that uses the LFO to open and close the envelope filter in tempo with the song. Do you have a particular song in mind or tempo you're looking for?
Nord Stage 3 | SC Prophet T8 | Korg X50... In the past: Nord Stage EX, 2, 2EX | SC Prophet 5, 10 | MiniMoog | Hammond B3 & 122 Leslie | Yamaha DX7IIFD, EX5, CP60 | Hohner D6 | Fender Rhodes | Roland S-50, D-50, XP-50...

Its an original song and i think tempo was around 120
I wish I knew more about making them but it was just a sick sound I found on the yamaha userbase.
If theres a way to make my own using one of the synth bass presets on my nord electro 6d then it would be great to know!

Unfortunately the Electro 6D doesn't have a synth section with assignable LFO, however you can try using Effects like the Tremolo or Phase Shifter, to create a pulsing effect where the tempo can be assigned.

Is it possible to buy an effect pedal and plug it into my electro to Give it oscillation?

Of course yes and you can also use Output Routing to send the Synth only to one of the 2 outputs (see NE6 manual "Output Routing" paragraph), but you can also try first with on-board effects or sample a synth bass you like (from a VST or if you find it already sampled in .wav on the net) and create your own .nsmp for the NE6 using the Nord Sample Editor
