Bagpipe???

I wouldn't know where to start.......but one of the guys in the band has an idea about a song that has bagpipes in it. I don't see that sound anywhere on this website or on my NS2. Is it possible? Any ideas? Thank you.

Hi h8hoos,

I am not aware of any free bagpipe samples, but there are some commercial sample sets and vstis that could serve as a basis (http://www.bigfishaudio.com/4DCGI/detail.html?350, http://www.kvraudio.com/db/2754).

Probably one could get a simple emulation by just cutting one of the examples, but not too easy.

Maybe someone has a good sample?

I've made a sample from a wav bagpipe, but I'm not entirely satisfied with it for the original sample was not so fine.

Hi, you can find som good bagpipes at http://www.sc-sounds.com on their World Instruments sample collection, very useful both with or without articulations.

The JD800 and the World Instruments libraries are the only ones I own actually. They works pretty fine for me.
You can fine a bunch of demos on that website.

Yesterday i saw a documentation about ABBA 40th anniversitary.
In this documentation the song "Arrival" fade´s in.

Today i try to replicate this on my NS2 - hope you enjoy too :)
