Hello all
Very new to the Nord (Electro 5D) and have a very large learning curve so thanks for all help.
I have a need to play a few special effects/sounds. Those sounds would be “thunder” and “timpani kettle drum” . Can someone offer advice where I could find those sounds?

On http://www.freesounds.org (mentioned by analogika) and other similar sites you can find plenty of .wav samples of that kind (and more).kcstone wrote:Did you ever find a thunder / rain sample?
Example: https://freesound.org/search/?q=thunder , just pickup the .wav you like, edit/cut it if needed then and then use NSE to build the Nord Sample version of it.

it's summer over there already? had 8 inches of snow just a few weeks ago in Chicago...and near freezing night temps just two weeks ago
anyway, that .wav sounds decent already through computer speakers -- can't wait to try it out on real system tomorrow!
