Any hints on how to obtain drum kit samples or patches for Nord Stage 2? I do see the one set on the forum but it would be nice to have more options.
I have a Nord Rack 2x which includes a large array but would like to sell that-- one of the reasons why I bought the Stage 2. I wonder why Nord themselves does not include a library... (Hint, Hint)

Once I get my studio set up I will try and sample some of the sounds I have on my Boss DR-880 to make a kit.
Obviously it will only have one velocity layer so you may struggle to get the realism you get from a multi-sampled kit but i am sure it's worth a try.
Have you tried looking on http://www.musicradar.com/ for samples. They have loads of different genres and I am sure they have quite a few drum hits including claps and some old-skool stuff which you can make an instrument from.
You could also go the home-made route..... you could sample yourself banging a tin or box and other items and make an instrument that way - the possibilities are only as limited as anyones imagination.
