Worship Programs for NS3

Postby ehabaziz2001 » 19 Mar 2018, 00:05

Hi all ,
I am looking for Church worship programs . As I find any ones I find them with payment. Is there any place offers NS3 programs free or even with moderate charge ?
Thanks

Worship music is pretty straightforward from a patch creation perspective. My suggestion? Take 30 minutes on your NS3, and see what you can come up with. You'll be impressed :)
I think I have gear issues ....

I agree with cphollis 200%! Editing on the NS is so easy. If you have a sound in your head, you can probably recreate it without too much trouble.

No doubt. I was actually considering getting one of those sound packs mentioned in another threads until I took the time to sit down and make a new pad sound from scratch. Using the sample section of the synth engine you can get some really great pad sounds by using long attack and release times on the amp envelope. I won’t be buying any packs!

I got my NS3 in December and since then I have been trying to create a decent pad sound without success.
I am new to sound creation, since my approach has been more of tweaking presets.
The problem for me is there are no good enough pad presets to start with on the NS3.

I like really thick pads with a lot of shimmer at the top or slowly sweeping pads, like Fantasy pad, Glass pad, Jupiter Hollow, Jupiter String pad using Roland terminology.

Then I found these libraries:
https://www.synthonia.com/marketplace/n ... e-3-detail
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTz_2AxDo3Q
which is almost exactly the sounds I like.

If someone wants to share a similar patch (like "Flying high" or "Glassy pad" from the custom library) built with free resources so I can inspect and learn, I would be very happy!

The great thing about the Stage (2 in my case), is that creating sounds is easy and fun. You just need to take a little time to get used to how it works.
Afterwards it only takes seconds to create a usable pad and maybe an evening to create multiple pads that you'll find great.

I would not buy packs. I'd rather have the fun myself.

The pad I created the other night used one of the Organ Flute samples in the synth engine with around a 2 second attack and even longer release. Added a very slow LFO to the LP filter cutoff to give it some motion over time. Then I layered that with one of the synth pad presets on the other panel with some tweaks to the attack time and filter.

Also, I *do* have extensive experience with synthesis, so I was just being lazy by considering buying a pack! :shh:

The fact is you can get a lot of mileage out of the sample section in the synth when it comes to pads. Applying longer attack and release times and experimenting with different filter settings to alter the sound of the sample is the way to get started.
