When I copy any program to a free slot or live slot it changes the settings on the synth or even the sample sometimes...
The problem started right after the update v2.0...

It's f**** up the keyboard. I had to go back the latest system to make it work again...

What happened? Is it not possible to downgrade anymore after 2.00?? Can anybody confirm this?

I'm certainly not going to try, since I'm fairly happy with 2.0 right now.

I confirm!
My keyboard lost programs when I did that with error messages on screen...
The nord sound manager didn't want to connect with the keyboard...
I wouldn't avise you to do that...

Did that and it didn't work...
I spent hours for 2 days and tried so many things but I'm stuck with this update...

As mentioned elsewhere, what has worked for me sometimes in exactly this setting is to load the existing program, save it to a new location, load it again from the original and then save it again to the new destination. Not sure it works for others, but it did for me when I needed it.

You may also be able to use the nord sound manager to copy programs?

And yes, these are only workarounds in the meantime.

Going back to 1.60 likely doesn't work because the new EP format (and maybe newly saved programs) are not compatible.

Which might be why it's a major release (2.xx) otherwise they would have used 1.70 or something.
Just assuming normal software-release-practice logic here...
Hopefully we get a fix soon for this as it has bitten a lot of ppl. already (incl. yours truly).

This worked for me as well. Another possible workaround is saving your modified synth sound as a new preset and then pointing the synth to that preset before saving your Program and copying elsewhere. I found that copied programs are loading the preset into the synth slots. The problem might seem intermittent because some programs may not be referencing a synth sound different than the preset used. Between the two options, copying twice until the OS problem is fixed seems more practical. It would be interesting to see how the OS is managing programs from the Forum referencing a synth preset number that hasn't yet been created on an individual's Nord Stage 3. Take care.
