Trigger a click from key
A newbie here, so sorry if this question is elementary or not clear. Is it possible to trigger an external click when playing a note (C5) on the Stage 3? I have a looped sample assigned to that note and I need to send a click track to the drummer that corresponds to the loop tempo. The loop comes in after the start of the song. The click has to continue through the rest of the song and I switch patches several times during the song. Thanks.

Hi, give just separate metronome to your drummer he will play all song with it and you trigger samples to the drummer with click.
(On Nords its impossible only Rolands have that capabilities, but having external metronome solves the issue )

Re: Trigger a click from key
That sounds like something you cannot easily do. There is no simple way of deriving the tempo from the loop and sending that as a separate click, unfortunately -- and especially if you're planning to change patches/programs during the song.
What MAY work in a pinch is to create a loop that has a click on e.g. the left side and the real loop on the right side, and then send one of them to the drummer and the other to the FOH (you can use outputs 3 and 4 for this if you route e.g. Panel B synth here). If you do this, triggered by a key in the low range of the keyboard from e.g. Panel B synth with KBD HOLD enabled, it can continue to play also when you then maybe switch to Panel A and do your own playing. But you have to be really careful with your playing and change of settings...

(Alot of pain in the neck, just separate metronome in drummer's ears))
