Just had a rehersal whith my NS3 compact...
Before ,the Nord was in my car about 3 hours, it was cold outside ...joining the room ,quite cold also but there was a radiator...
Put it on ...as the Nord boot i get Pitch stick error ...and while playing , all the morphed delay on all patches were on !!!...
After about an hour ...everything was back to normal..???
Get the same thing in my house today ...?
The NS3 might have got some condensed water / moisture inside due to change from the cold environment of your car into the warmer environment of the rehearsal room. It's always a good idea to have very cold electronic instruments stay in the warmer environment without switching them on for a certain period of time so they can accomodate the temperature and condensation will go away . Not sure if that was / is the reason for what you experienced but that would also explain why after an hour it went back to normal operation since by then the moisture evaporated.

I also think it's very plausibe that the water inside shorted some contact that made in turn the NS3 behave the way it did. It's not a good idea to operate it in these conditions, but on the other hand the water shortening the contacts usually doesn't create other problems than a temporarily altered state of the system, and doesn't fry any component. Yet, as said it's best not to use it with heavy condensation.
I had a similar experience on a gig. It was !00 degrees + and my Stage 2 was sitting in the hot sun. I covered it with my soft case (bad idea). When we started playing the instrument started doing strange things, switching engines, turning organ off, etc. When things cooled off the problem went away never to be seen again. Extreme cold and heat are not fond of electronics-

Well I think the problem isn't so much about temperature per se but the condensation that forms when sudden variations in temperature occur, or when for example a side of an item is cold and the opposite side is hot, as it happens with home windows in winter. That said, I agree it ain't easy to put all these precautions in practice all the time...
Just one other thing regarding condensation - if time allows, keep your keyboard in its case when you bring it inside and let it slowly get up to room temperature without being exposed to the room air. Taking it out of its case right when you get home is when the room humidity forms condensation on the cold components. Take care.

I'm sure temperature could be a factor I also sometimes have to keep my keyboards in my vehicle for more than 10 hours at a time in winter and summer when I have to go into work for night shift after rehearsal but once I bring them into the house they usually sit in the bag to climatize. There have been times I set them up right away and turn them on to play but have never had issues. So not sure if the temperature change is the cause to your issue. Hopefully you get it figured out.
