Stage 4 Synth A slider cuts off DAW track - RESOLVED

Hoping I am not missing something obvious here as I am very new to the KB and Nord instrument.

I pair the NS4 with my DAW for use as a MIDI controller. I have not delved deeply into this, but kept it super basic - press a key on the NS4, the DAW sounds on the selected track.

If I start a new project with a single track, and press an NS4 key w/o touching any control or slider onthe NS4, all is well. Turn on the Piano] and/or Organ sections - everything is still fine. Turn on the synth with A, B and C on (or any combination on/off), all is well UNLESS i move the A synth slider. Even with the synth A off, and B on (the entire synth section must be on), this happens. MIDI is still being sent (I can see it in both the DAW and my MIDI monitor), but the sound from the track in the DAW is off. Again, this is JUST the A Synth slider.

I am investigating the idea of an NS4 reset (no idea how to do that yet). I also am quite sure that this did NOT happen with the shipped NS4 OS - .98. My NS4 is now at 1.12.

Please conside opening a support case on this issue. Otherwise it might not get fixed in the next update as Nord doesn't closely monitor the forum.

It might be easier to figure out what happens if you use a MIDI monitor on your computer and see which commands are sent when you move slider A. There should be hints to some programs on the forum if you search for MIDI monitor.

Problem resolved. After a lot of careful testing, use of a MIDI monitor, and diligence, I did a full reset of the DAW. The issue is resolved. I will admit that in my somewhat limited MIDI experience, this does rank up there with the very strange cases.
