No one noticed a glitch on the latest update?
The glitch is that seamless switching does not always work.
Opinions?

Re: Stage 3 Latest OS Update Bug
In which situations have you experienced this? I haven't had such an issue myself (yet), so maybe some special situations trigger this?

Re: Stage 3 Latest OS Update Bug
It works for me as it normally does, changing one or multiple banks away.
Remember that it only can keep one previous program running - you may know, but just in case:
If you play bank A11 and hold down sustain, change to eg B24 and play one tone, then bank A11 will keep sounding as long as you hold sustain. But if you now change to eg L41, then A11 will stop sounding -whereas B24 of course keeps running.
So you can scroll through many other banks while one is running, but as soon as you touch a key in a new bank, that bank will be ready to replace the previous one in the seamless buffer when you change again.
The rule is that whatever bank you last played a key in will go to the seamless buffer and replace whatever may have been there before when you change bank again.
It's always been like this, so it's not new to the latest release.
How do you change banks?

Re: Stage 3 Latest OS Update Bug
Yo everybody.
I didn't notice it before, but it's cut off after 5 programs, or even when switch to next program. And when I hold chord, and change program, which has another piano, piano sound is didn't cut off, but release sample is changes to new program piano
It's doesn't happen on previous OS.
Programs just cut off randomly.
Yes, I know about banks. When I hold program, and scroll over all banks, nothing cut off in previous os versions, I check it.

And almost on each third time piano is not cut off, but switch to another sample without cut off, If I scroll between two piano patches. It's weird.

Re: Stage 3 Latest OS Update Bug
I don't think I asked clearly enough:
How do you change programs?
With the main dial? In list mode? Or by pressing a key 1-5 in the current bank and page? Or via two-key press in the current bank like page and position?
Do you hold keys down or use sustain?
Do you change between programs that only hold pianos? All stored in A or sometimes A and B?
I ask because I haven't been able to reproduce it on mine...
Or maybe a video could help showing when it happens.

Look, I change between programs with main dial, and sound cut off sometimes. And when I switch between piano (For example, I have program A:11 and A:12, and both of them have piano sound), it's doesnt cutoff, but it's change piano and resonance sounds when I hold sustain for new sample.

Ok, this is a video. Please, use headphones.
And notice that it's doesn't happpen before latest os update
And sometimes, programs is just cut off, like seamless transition is off.

Re: Stage 3 Latest OS Update Bug
I cannot reproduce this either on my NS3 with the latest OS. Seamless transitions work perfectly from program to program for me. The next note comes from the newly selected program. You change very quickly in your video, perhaps this uncovers some software limitation. Does this present a real-world performance problem for you?
