I find the compact 3 a very nice replacement for the B3. The keys are a little stiffer, but not so much that it affects my organ technique.
The slightly stiffer springs make playing pianos "pretty good". Dosing pianissimo dynamics can be a little tricky with some sounds (notably one string synth I use with strong dynamic response), but the keybed is pretty lovely for synths overall, and the aftertouch (which I use almost exclusively for vibrato) is perfectly weighted IMO.
