How to split the stage 2 into three sounds,
I hope that the far left is the cello, the piano in the center, the far right is the organist.
Moreover, the organ needs to be reduced to two octaves.
how to make it step by step?
Thank you advance
August

Re: stage 2 sound split
Here goes:
- 1. Press the 3 split button
2. Hold shift and keep tapping the 2 split button to define the low/mid split point
3. Hold shift and keep tapping the 3 split button to define the mid/high split point
4. Press slot A
5. Activate the synth section
6. Hold shift and tap the synth initialise button (found in the synth section to the right of its volume control)
7. Hold shift and keep tapping the synth activate button until just the low (left most) led is illuminated
8. Find your cello sound
9. Activate the piano section
10. Hold shift and keep tapping piano activate button until just the mid led is illuminated
11. Find your piano sound
12. Activate the organ section
13. Hold shift and keep tapping the organ activate button until just the high (right most) led is illuminated
14. Set up your organ sound - you might want to octave shift this one down dependant on what register you need.
15. Balance the volumes between the three sections to suit.

Re: stage 2 sound split
Also, if you want to get more complex, you might want to layer some strings over the piano part and a piano under the organ part:
Sounds good but you might then decide, you actually want the piano in the left hand along with the cello
- 1. Activate slot B
2. Activate the synth section
3. Hold shift and tap the synth init button ( to the right of the synth's volume control)
4. Hold shift and keep tapping the synth activate button until just the middle led is lit
5. Find/create a suitable string or pad sound
6. Activate the piano section
7. Hold shift and keep tapping the synth piano activate button until just the high (right most) led is lit
8. Set up your piano sound (use the same as you did for slot A) and octave it down
9. Press both slot buttons simultaneously
10. You can adjust settings in each slot by just tapping the slot a or b buttons, the controls with a grey background will only affect the sound for the slot that is flashing
Sounds good but you might then decide, you actually want the piano in the left hand along with the cello
- 1. Activate slot A
2. Hold shift and tap the piano activate button until you have the low and mid LEDs lit up together

There's a sort of informal tradition on this forum that we take the time to actually help people with their problems rather than just referring them back to the manual. It's one of the key reasons that the forum is developing a reputation for being helpful and friendly. You may want to consider that some people don't have the same level of knowledge and experience that you do, and that comments like these may feel belittling to someone struggling to understand new concepts. Please help the forum to maintain its reputation by considering carefully whether your posts are actually helpful to the person asking for help. After all, you may have some questions of your own someday...

Of course ! the reason of this forum is to be friendly and helpful… I enjoyed it myself, being a new Norder too… But there are some basics, that are obviously not repeated enough…
When you buy such a complex product as a synthesizer (and it applies to many other technological products), reading the manual is ALWAYS the first thing to do ! It's meant to give all the basic informations to enjoy your product… Helping someone who doesn't want to make any effort at first is NOT helpful…
If August had said : "i've tried by myself and read the manual, but i don't understand it"… or "i'm not good at English"… OR he he had asked any more complex question… It would have been totally OK ! There are plenty of features that are not so natural. But obviously, he didn't gave it a single try… because managing splits is sooo easy ! (when you have read the manual. It's written in the first chapter "getting started" step by step…
If you give him all the work, what will the next topic ? "how to change a sound ?" "how to adjust the volume ?"
I actually will give all my time and (very little) Knowledge, to anyone who ask a relevant question… which is not the case here !
To August : It was not at all to "troll" you that we said that… it was actually the most helpful Hint this community could give you for starting exploring the Nord…
Feel free to ask any other question you have, even this one if you didn't got it, once you had your hands on it, for a while…

Re: stage 2 sound split
A quick, dumb question as a potential NS2 purchaser. If I set up a split like the one described above, can I save it for instant recall later on? If so, how many of these split set-ups can I save?

Re: stage 2 sound split
The short answer is yes. There are 400 program's in which you can save your setups into - each program can have 1 or 2 slots so in theory, you could have up to 800 different configurations available to you.
