Split keyboard/outputs

Post by Popguy68 »

With a split keyboard patch--say bass in the left hand and organ on right, is there a way to route the left patch to the left stereo output only and the same with the organ on the right? Thanks!

Assuming you have a NS2Ex as per your profile (right?) you can use the AutoPan effect, with Rate = 0 the Amount controls the panning (of course this means using one Panel for each section to be panned, example Synth with bass on panel A and Organ on Panel B)

According to the manual, you may also test following option: (Set routing to 'per program' in the System settings and) route Synth to 3, Organ to 1&2 (use only one of those); but you'd need to check if there are any downside effects.
