Sounds to download/purchase

Greetings All - looking for sites or other resources for purchasing new sounds or programs to download for NS3. I'm particularly interested in acoustic basses for jazz and old R&B.

When you go to the sample archives, Nord states that these samples are not compatible with an NS3, and refer you to the library intended for the 3. But, I thought the sample converter app would make any nsmp file into an nsmp3 file, no?
I've done a little sampling myself with my (new) NS3 and you wind up with an nsmp that has to be converted to nsmp3.
Am I missing something, or should Nord maybe explain this at the archive site?

The Nord Sound Manager converts the NS2 or Archive sample to NS3 format when you load it. There is also a Sample Converter if you want to convert the sample manually before loading it.

Thanks ajstan - yes I have gone through 3.0, 2.0, and archive. I thought there might be someone out there who puts out interesting bundles of patches. Maybe I just need a tutorial on the synth module so I can tweak the sounds that come closest to my needs.
