Sending PC mesasages to Nord Stage 3 from Logic Pro X

Hello all, and I am hoping you are all doing well.

Is there someone here who can explain the relationship between Program Change settings inside Logic Pro X, and what happens on a i.e. Nord Stage 3 on the receiving end ..
I can't seem to break through the logic here ...

PC messages are received alright, but the outcome is not what I am expecting.

I am trying to send a message that will do the following ...

Select Song X, and preset Y within that Song
I.e. Song Bank 1 and Program 3 ---- recalled in one PC message/setup

Are you sending your messages through the Global channel of the Stage 3? AFAIK, only the Global channel can process Song Mode-related MIDI messages... if it's Song Mode what you was referring to.

Sure ... I am sending it to the Global channel ... in my case Midi Channel 1. And Receive PC is enabled.

And Receive PC is enabled.

This is unfortunately irrelevant as there is a bug that makes the NS3 always receive PC messages on the Global channel, regardless of that setting. We're still hoping for a fixing firmware update.

Are you using Song Mode? Or were you referring to normal Programs?
