Sampling pluck sounds

Post by Wired »

I have sampling down on pads, how about more pluck sounds like dulcimer , is it easier or more difficult than pads, and which settings are necessary ?

In my experience, lots easier as you don't need to worry about looping. You can set all the looping to "none" in the Nord sample editor.

Well that depends, if the plucked sound has no sustained part and/or you don't want to optimize the sample size then you can do without looping, otherwise you need to loop its "sustained" part.
