I have .wav files that are sound effects for my Floyd band. Some of these files have a sound, then silence, then another sound, etc. (think "Pigs" where there are various pig sounds happening over a 40 second time period)
When I import them into the editor, it wants to assign each little segment it's own key, but I want it to read it all as one and ignore the silence. I've tried changing the root key of each segment to be assigned to the key I want, but you can only assign 16 segments to 1 key.
Is there any way to have the sample editor ignore the silence and let me assign the entire file to 1 key? Am I missing something simple?
Thanks!

Re: Sample Editor Question
My friend told me just to drag the file to a key, that worked. I knew it was something easy.
