Hi,
I'm curious as a new Nord Stage 4 user if Nord ever adds new functionality via FW update ? I am coming from a "Kurzworld" where they add so many new features to keyboards like the Forte after it was just released as a stage piano. by the end of it's life it was a full fledged 16 zone VAST machine with an FM engine and full sequencer.
Just curious if they did anything similarly impressive with the Stage 3 ?
Obviously I am not expecting or wanting a sequencer - but just trying to get a realistic sense if they typically introduce new things - like a song mode / setlist feature would be an example.
Question on Nord history on adding features to Stage

Re: Question on Nord history on adding features to Stage
sometimes they do, but I wouldn't bet on the song list till much later revisions of the firmware if it comes at all. I'd love to have it back believe me, but having owned ever iteration of Stage, I'm still waiting for the mono version of unison for the synth section to come back since the original. It sat better in the stereo pianos. Every revision seems to add some things and take some, sometimes big ones, away. I'm actually thinking about picking up an Electro with the Setlist feature to use as an Aux KB too, but only after the midi quirks are ironed out, which always takes a few versions of firmware.
