Program Categories

Hallo,
just got my Stage3 and I'm programming step by step all my setlists and programs from my Electro 5D to it.
When saving programs you can select a category. There is no such category as brass e.g. Therfore my question:
Is it possible to create new categories, at the moment I choose USER for my own but would prefer to have BRASS, ORCH etc...
In the manual I did not find anything, maybe somebody here knows?

as I was searching as well for such a function I'm pretty sure, you cannot add private categories.

Agreed that categories are not editable.
I put all my prorgams for gigs in the "User" category and name them : "nn songname" to have them in order (NS2 keyboard).

OK, thank you! Maybe this is something for a later update...

I use the Song-Mode for all songs just like the Setlist in my Nord Electro 5D. Currently am converting all programs and songs (about 140 songs so that's quite a task

The Nord Sound Manager allows to change the Category as part of the Rename (program) function, according to the NSM manual

Rename (Programs/Performances)
This allows you to rename, and assign a category to a program or performance.

(edit) I just tested it, you can select any existing category.

First time user first time question on my Stage 4. So i want to confirm about when editing sounds, or program that I cant create my own category?
Or can I add a new category.

Confirmed: you can't create a new (personal) category name, just assign an existing (factory) one
