Price increase in Stage 3?

Hi,

My bandmate is in the market for a Stage 3 88. While I was helping him pick a store to buy it, I realized that the price has significantly increased respect last year when I bought mine.
Does anybody know for a fact if there's something going on regarding price? In my case, it has gone from 3500€ to 4000€.

I don't know if this is a temporary situation and therefore, advice him to wait, or this is something else.

Pandemic, inflation, component shortage, war, disruption of global supply chains, AND fuel prices have skyrocketed.

The current global financial system needs inflation in order to function. My understanding of such things is very lacking, but I this is one of the basics. Prices go up, as they have for the last 100 years. If and when prices go down, something is "wrong" according to economists.

Could be stores are adding to price of hard to get items. Buying a car these days is insane the markups above MSRP dealers are asking and getting.

He should better buy now because for sure prices wont go down for the next 3 years at least.. they might raise up more or just stay as it is but for sure not going down…. Also it will be a bit hard to find available nord stage 3 88..

Because of my good connections i can still get any nord in a better price than the regular thomann.de prices and i can still get any nord while no one or maybe a very few has availability.. i already sold many from january till june
